Projects

I started working at the age of 14, delivering papers for the local newsagent. Then, at 16, I took on a job at a local Chinese takeaway, which I loved (Free food is the way to my heart). I stayed at this job until my boss retired, even returning during the holidays from University. While doing my A-Levels, I also did several theatre shows as work experience to get into the technical theatre industry. This was all in my free time during holidays, after school and at weekends. From there, my love for Sound and Technical Theatre grew. I used to travel back home during University to work on other shows in a bid to fund my university experience! I have always looked to do more to grow myself and help others, and here are a few of my favourite projects that I have worked on.

HSH Productions Website Design

At the start of my employment at HSH Productions, I discovered that they had an extremely outdated website. I was also learning to code, therefore I put forward a proposal to redesign and code a brand new website. I spent the best part of 3 months, in my own time, designing and coding the website from scratch, using HTML, CSS and Javascript. This is now their official website.

BACCES Panto 2024

I was approached by the British Airways Cabin Crew Entertainment Society (BACCES) to sound design and operate on their annual pantomime, which is entirely funded by BACCES and operated solely by volunteers. This was a project that I was excited to be involved in, as it raises a lot of money each year for important charities. I had been involved in previous years to help out, but never ran the entire department and operated the show. That year it raised £30,500 for Alzheimer's Society, Mama to Mama, Brain Tumour Research and elop. It starts at the end of November for 9 days at the Beck Theatre in Hayes.

HEOS Panto

From when I started working in the theatre industry, I have worked on the HEOS pantomime, which is local to me, at a place called Greenford Hall. I mostly work on the sound side of things, but I also help out with both lighting and pyrotechnics. This is a community project that I do as a volunteer and have done for over 5 years, which takes place at the end of December for 3 days.

This picture is after a very long day, but the show must go on!

Throughout my working life, I have been involved in hundreds of events and projects all across the UK and even abroad. This involves high-profile clients such as Notting Hill Carnival, Craig David, Madame Tussauds, Jess Glynn, Arsenal FC, The Ritz, NFL and many, many more.
